Kate The future queen is the biography book of Kate Middleton, the wife of Prince William of British Royal Family. Katie Nichol succeeded to get the reader attention especially by the flow she had taken for this book. I love the way she tells the story not only from the early age of Kate Middleton itself but far away from her grandparents even though it was just slightly. The story gets deeper when it started to come onto Kate early life hood. I also found people surroundings Kate quotation and point of view of her such as Mrs. Alford (her teacher), George Brown (her neighbor) and friends that support her profile to stand out more and trustworthy.

The only problem I had while reading this book is the slow plot given by the author. When I expected to get to know her daily life with the royal family in the fourth or fifth chapter, it turned out so long. The meeting of Kate and Prince William was found when I reached the chapter eight. The early life of Kate family was taking too much portion that I think not necessarily explained. The direct statement of Kate was also hardly to find in this book. It will be more fascination if the reader can find the direct statement of Kate as the main character in this book.

Kate is super popular when she was in college and went to the same University with Prince William at St. Andrew. She is very charming and well know as no-make up beauty. Morover the best part of her and also the part that I can learn from is her confidence and independence. Many people talks badly behind about her close relation with the prince. But she didn’t mind it and continue her friendship with prince William long before they have each other feeling. In terms of carrier, she was a really independent woman. Once her business got in debt, but she tried to proof to her father that she could handle it and didn’t as for his money. I learned that, though she had everything on her hand, she was trying her best she could. I should reflects it on my life, and trying not to make my parents in hard situation.

Kate’s Childhood life is not all good memories. She had been through bullying at school, when she moved. I could relate to what Kate felt, because I had been bullied when I was in Junior high school. The difference is when Kate got bullied she felt uncomfortable and became quiet and avoided her friends. Otherwise, I took it as having fun with my friends, and still hanging out with them to conceal myself in reality that I actually being bullied.

The whole pages of books tell the love story of Kate and Prince William in general. The romance was really sweet and warm. This book is about Kate, but I fall on statement that Prince William ever said in the book. It was the best quote I found. He said “ ...I had my millitary career and I really wanted to concentrate on my flying, and I couldn’t have done this if I was still doing my training, so I’ve got that out of the way  and Kate’s in a good place in terms of work and where she wants to be, and we both just decided now was a really good time”. His revelation represents his wise thought on relationship. It got my eye because it was similar with my principal of life. I belive that we should prioritize our dream first and not in rush with relationship. Good time will come along we reached what we have to finish first.

This book is good for people who interested in royal family history, and fan of Kate Middleton. I would recommend this book to my mother. She was a fan of royal family especially Princess Diana. When Kate and Prince William marriage was broadcasted on the TV, My mom would never miss a single thing. She put so much attention to know about the royal family, that’s why I think this book will be a good reading for her.

Unfinished Short Story

Cafe Daydream I remember that   I met him two years ago in a coffee shop near by the Maryglots lake. Friday night with Barry Manillow’s famous song on the played accompanied me sitting alone at the seat by the window. The drizzles outside became my sight view while I was waiting for my chocolate milkshake to arrive because I had nothing to be done since my phone out of battery. People’s crowded footsteps could be heard clearly by me. I looked up the café’s door every time the people passed by. Suddenly, someone that was familiar appeared through the door alone. He looked similar with someone I knew. I observed him from top to toe. A bit messy brown hair fit his small face. He wore a moss green inner turtle neck with a dark brown long coat and black skinny pants; all were perfect but one, his puffy grey slipper. He walked straight to the order table, I didn’t what he was order he did it by pointing at the menu screen and comb his hair at the same time. Then, he looked ar...

Viola vs Violin

VIOLA VS VIOLIN Being a fan of classical music gives me new the knowledge of some instruments. Even though I am not a musician, I am interested in classical instruments and orchestra. One of the instruments that attract me the most is Violin. Before I go deeper to know more about violin, I thought violin is the English translation of Biola in Indonesia and had no clues about viola, but after I watched some YouTube videos and did some web-surfing, I realized that viola and violin are two different instruments. Here are some differences and similarities between those look alike instruments. If I catch a glimpse of both instruments, they look like twin. I might call viola as violin and other way around. But if we observe the details, their differences on physical appearances are obvious. The wooden materials and accessories such as case, bow, strings, tuner, chin and shoulder rest might deceive us, but if we look further on their size, measurements and clef I can tell they ar...
